Frequently Asked Questions

Will my certificate from Accredited First Aid be recognised across Australia?

Yes. Accredited First Aid works with the Registered Training Organisation Australian Premier Learning (National Provider Number 3586), which means your First Aid qualification is Nationally Recognised, and Workplace approved.

I just need to do a refresher for my First Aid/CPR but I don’t see the option to book in for this?

There were new course codes and requirements that came out in 2014 which means that there will be no ‘refreshers’ until a) you have completed these new course requirements and b) you apply to refresh your course in 2017 or later. This is irrespective of how many First Aid/CPR courses you have done in the past.

How long will my qualification last for?

Provide First Aid, Education and Care First Aid, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications last 3 years. If you are doing CPR only, this qualification lasts 12 months. The recommendation from the Australian Resuscitation Council is to refresh CPR every 12 months.

Do you provide refunds if I cannot attend on the day of my course?

We cannot accept refunds, as it is important for us to know how many students we are expecting on the day in order to cover costs of both venue hire, course material costs and the trainer’s time. However, we are more than happy to transfer you to another course on a day you are able to attend.

Are there discounts for Group Bookings?

Yes. If you have 7 or more people, you will receive $10 each off the cost of the courses. Payment for all courses must be up front to secure the bookings.

How do I pay for my course?

When you book a course through our online bookings page, you will be taken through our secure payment process. Credit cards, direct deposit, or Paypal are payment options offered. You will be issued with a receipt upon us receiving the funds.
